Nickelodeon Rocks!!!
Nickelodeon has some awesome cartoons... maybe not so much anymore, but when I was younger, it was my favorite channel to watch! Which brings me to Doug Funny. I randomly thought of him today, and had to blog about it. He was the awkward kid that was head over heels in love with Patty Mayonnaise...he was even lucky enough to get his own movie! Then he moved to Disney, and it just wasn't the same.
Nickelodeon brought me a bunch of other cool shows as well: Clarissa Explains it all; You Can't Do That on Television; and Rocko's Modern Life... Man Rocko was kickass... The one episode I remember was when his toilet was clogged, and lo and behold it was his pet goldfish that he had flushed - he had thought he was dead, but nope, just taking a nap, and he grew to a ginormous size and was living in the pipes... HILARIOUS! You can't get much better than that! What have cartoons come to today??

Do you even remember You Can't Do that on Television? Seems to me you would be too young for that. You forgot one of my fave Nick shows... Double dare... I always wanted my brother and I to be on that show so he would get slimed!
You're bringing back childhood trauma. My parents would never get cable. Ever. They were so cheap about things like that. No Nickolodean cartoons for me. I only got to watch it at friend's houses.
I don't know if you remember a show called "Funhouse" hosted by JD Roth. That was some good TV.
I miss Speedy Gonzalez cartoons as well. I don't think they show them anymore because of the negative Mexican stereotypes.
