Christmas is Coming....

Man oh man... now that Thanksgiving is over and done with, I can't complain about all the Christmas stuff clogging the stores. I love the holiday season, but seriously, it shouldn't start til AFTER Thanksgiving, NOT BEFORE HALLOWEEN!

But now the December is a few days away, I can pull out the Xmas CDs and start singing along. I need to clean a spot in my apartment and put up the little fake Christmas tree my grandparents gave me, and start putting gifts underneath. But really, how can I get all excited for Christmas when THERE'S NO SNOW ON THE GROUND?!?! Seriously! This is Wisconsin. Where is the Snow?

I love Christmas carols, and one song that I always have to listen to is "Christmas Don't Be Late" by Alvin and the Chipmunks. My sister, brother, and I used to have the Chipmunk's Christmas on RECORD (yup, that's right, vinyl record) and we'd look at the sleeve and listen to it over and over and over again... I'm sure my parents HATED it. How we could sit there without much for visualization is beyond me, but hey, we loved it. Well, now I have that song on my Xmas CD and just love it. I refuse to skip over it because it always puts a smile on my face (even though those high pitched voices can get annoying).
