Happy Birthday McBarb

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BARB - a huge Grey's addict, like the rest of us. And what better way to celebrate a birthday than to do a rundown of the drama that controls her friends' lives (ie the cast of Greys, cuz let's be honest, they are real people to us, not TV characters!)

MER AND DER are finally together. I know some did not want to see this happen, but McBarb was a huge McDreamy fan, and she finally got her wish :) Hopefully their lives stay a little less drama-free for a while before they throw another wedge into the relationship. (Except that means we don't get to see that much of them, and that's not fun)

GEORGE- for some reason is really really angry these days, and can't even look at Callie - not sure if you are a Callie fan, but George needs to get some loving, and fast! Poor guy... his dad all almost dying, his ex sleeping with McSteamy... poor guy. I wonder how he's going to handle it, cuz he doesn't always handle his feelings well.

MCSTEAMY vs McALEX - So I personally love how Alex is coming around, and how he kissed Izzie the other episode, and how he still wants to do Plastics, but you can see he's changing, and might just join the Va-jay-jay squad after all. And really, McSteamy is so cold and jerkish... they better not hook him up with Izzie, cuz let's be honest, Alex is super head over heels for her... except for this whole new eyeing up Addison thing. What's up with that?? I think these people need to almost find someone outside of the hospital to sleep with... or maybe a non-surgeon.

IZZIE - What is she going to do with that $8.4 million dollar check.... WHAT?!?!?? I hope it's nothing dumb, but who knows. We all know she's not going to spend it on herself, so she'll probably start the Denny Foundation... but what will it help out? hmmm.... only time will tell.

CHRISTINA AND BURKE - umm... HELLO!!!! They are both blaming each other for their mistakes, and Christina sold Burke out to the Chief (I was hoping Burke would do it himself, but I suppose it's more dramatic this way) Does this mean Burke still gets to be Chief? And does anyone else really know what happened besides the interns and residents on that shift? I feel like no one else knows that Burke lied. I don't know how this one is going to play out, but I really can't see Burke forgiving her so easily... like he did the last time. But maybe he's capable of something like that...I just feel too much damage has been done.

CHIEF - so really, he wants Adele back. But I can't help but wonder if he really does want Ellis, she's just sick so he feels he shouldn't be with her? It wouldn't be fulfilling for him I'm sure... no growth in the relationship. Hmm.... I wonder if Adele will even take him back. It's been so long since she gave him the ultimatum, she might say, 'too little too late'. What will happen??

Ok there's my ode to Greys for McBarb's birthday. Sorry this wasn't done on time :/ And now I'm going to nurse this hangover that I have from celebrating McBarb's birthday in Madison ;)
